Digital Dental X-Rays
Digital dental X-rays are much quicker and more convenient than the older style of X-rays. After the digital X-ray is taken, the images are instantly sent to a computer monitor, where your dentist will be able to review them with you. This does away with the inconvenience of waiting for X-rays to develop. Additionally, digital X-rays reduce the level of radiation exposure by up to 90 percent; the radiation levels from traditional X-rays are considered to be completely safe, but digital X-rays are safer still.
Advanced Diagnostics
We can now detect and monitor very tiny cavities using a
laser detecting system. The system helps measure how deep a cavity is within
a tooth. An early discovery helps save much of the tooth structure because a
smaller filling is used.
